I’ve been working in social impact communications since 2012 at organizations both large and small, from Clinton Foundation to Resolution Project and Artists for Peace and Justice.
One common element throughout my work in social impact and music is my passion for amplifying underrepresented voices through storytelling.
Over the last 9 years, I have helped young leaders gain recognition from President Clinton, partnered with Deloitte, Dalberg, Mastercard Foundation, and The Rockefeller Foundation to announce innovative programs around the world, written about unheralded musicians from Australia, Jamaica, Réunion, Rwanda, and South Africa, and helped a NYC-based Moroccan band receive a Grammy nomination.
Right now, I’m working as a full time Communications Manager at Resolution Project.
Here are some work highlights.
Recap Videos
I scripted, filmed, edited, and distributed short recap videos from pitch competitions across the U.S. and internationally.
Short Documentary
I took a documentary class and made a short feature film about my friend Preston Riddick and his band Resura Arkestra, an 11-piece percussion ensemble from Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
A new website
I redesigned, migrated, and relaunched Resolution Project’s website on a budget of less than $10k
Panel sessions
I organized a series of panel sessions on underrepresented voices in social entrepreneurship.
Podcast
I conceived of, hosted, edited, and distributed Resolution Project’s inaugural podcast, Young Leaders Now.
Fundraiser

I organized and DJed a fundraiser for Australia’s bushfire crisis. The event raised $3700 AUD which was donated to Seed Mob, Australia’s first Indigenous youth climate network.
Grammy nomination

I worked with NYC-based Moroccan band Innov Gnawa to release their first EP on vinyl and distributed it widely, which included getting it into the hands of UK electronic producer Bonobo. Bonobo then worked with the band to produce Grammy-nominated track Bambro Koyo Ganda.
Take me back home.
